Across MYP your child will use a small set of resources for class, homework, and practice. This page explains each one — what it is, when it is used, and where to log in or find it.
The textbook series the department uses across MYP and DP. Used in class in print and at home through Snowflake, its online edition — same content, same exercises. The specific book each year-group uses is listed below.
Haese is our publisher across MYP and DP. Class copies are stocked in the room; the same book is available online via Snowflake for home study (school subscription, login required). Parents who would like a personal copy at home can purchase one directly from the book room.
The exact Haese textbook your child uses depends on their year and, at Year 11, on whether they are on the Standard or Extended pathway. At DP, it depends on which of the four IB courses they chose.
The Year 7 core text (orange cover). Number, fractions, basic algebra, geometry, statistics — building on PYP foundations.
The Year 8 core text. Extends Year 7 work in algebra, ratio and proportion, area and volume, and probability.
The Year 9 core text. Includes the topics the Year 9 → Year 10 setting decision is based on.
The Year 10 core text. Used by both Standard and Extended sets in Year 10.
The Year 11 core text on the Standard pathway. Aligns with AISL / AASL preparation for DP.
The Year 11 core text on the Extended pathway, with additional depth and abstraction. Aligns with AAHL / AIHL preparation for DP. A separate Worked Solutions companion is available.

How the school communicates assignments, deadlines, grades, and reports.
The school's programme-management platform. Students see assignment briefs, deadlines, MYP criterion grades, and end-of-term reports. Parents have their own login to see the same overview for their child.
Where individual lessons, slides, worksheets, and short tasks are posted. Each maths class has its own Classroom — your child should be able to show you how to find theirs. Used in tandem with ManageBac (which holds the formal assignment record).
