One short Criterion A test at the end of each unit (6–8 across the year). Two Criterion B investigations chosen from the topics with the richest pattern-spotting potential. Criterion C is judged alongside almost every piece of written work. Criterion D appears once, embedded in the statistics unit as a real-world data task.
A Criterion A end-of-unit test for each of the four major units. One full Criterion B investigation (patterns, formulae). One Criterion C-focused written task. Two Criterion D tasks (carbon-footprint infographic, glacial-scale modelling) are the centrepieces of the year.

A Mini-IA project at the end of the year — the only Criterion B + C + D task, designed as a bridge into the Year 12 Exploration. Each test is calibrated against IB Diploma standards so students leave Year 11 used to the rhythm of DP assessments.
